What you need to remember :

1- shake the bottle within each application
2- Supervise itchings of your horse, their recoveries indicate the need for a new application.

Strong Seasonal Summer Recurrent Dermatitis

1 Apply DERFEN every 2 or 3 daysdays, directly to  skin  while insisting between the hairs of the mane, At the bases of the tail and this, during ten days.  After, Apply Derfen each time your horse have sign of hitching.

2 Quickly crusts will appear and the wounds will be able to seem fatty. It is the proof of the action of DERFEN. Before each new application, brush these crusts slightly (without rubbing too much) to eliminate the surplus so that the new application can penetrate well.

3 One application all the 2 or 3 days is recommended the first two weeks but each horse being different, it can be spaced 4 or 5 days or on the contrary close to 2 or 3 days and this during all the season. Supervise itchings of your horse, their recoveries indicate the need for a new application.

4 At the end of about ten days, apply DERFEN each time you see your horse hitching; if your horse is very allergic to the parasites, the applications having to be more frequent. 

DERFEN prevents the action of the culicoïdes and forms an extremely effective barrier. However, it does not cure. The applications must be regular or recoveries with the first signs of itchings of the horse.

Use Vaseline in order to make a softer mix or to apply in ears or other difficult parts.

Mud scale 

1- clean the members with a disinfectant soap. Delicately brush the zones reached by paying attention not to wound the horse. 

2-rinse generously and dry the members. 

3- then apply a pesticide (Acadrex for example). You will have renew the treatment afterwards 10 days. 

4-between time, apply daily Derfen on all the zones reached. That hydrates the wounds and helps the hairs to push back. In the same time, the DERFEN prevents the new attacks parasitic. 

5- Once finished treatment, use DERFEN regularly to prevent that the scale does not return.

 Mycosis and mushrooms

DERFEN also acts like care of the skin reached of various Dermatitis or parasitisms other than the Summer Seasonal Recurrent Dermatitis. It applies in the same way, directly to the zones reached all the 2 or 3 days. To the members, apply DERFEN to against direction of the hair to make it penetrate and mass slightly.

Our Advice:  put on gloves to avoid preserving the odor on your hands.
